Spacious, fully equipped and newly renovated apartment with a beautiful bathroom and comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you need. There are even magazines and games in the apartment. The apartment is very quiet, a few meters away from the road. We received a very friendly welcome from the landlord. We really liked it and didn't lack anything.

The communication beforehand was extremely pleasant. Michael was always available, responded promptly and the arrival information was very precise.
The accommodation itself is even better than described. A warm welcome on board, top facilities (e.g. wooden floors, stereo with Bluetooth, bathtub), everything you could need, welcome drinks, WiFi, great beds. The warmth of the hosts is noticeable everywhere and we felt incredibly comfortable from the first second, so much that we actually wanted to extend our stay straight away.
Unfortunately, my car broke down. Michael's support and help went far beyond any role a host can play. I am still very grateful!
The quiet, rural location was perfect for us to switch off and recharge our batteries for the next action-packed day of vacation. It is only a few kilometers to Europa-Park or Strasbourg. A perfect accommodation with cordiality, style, top quality and warmth.

Beautiful apartment in the countryside
My wife and I had a wonderful five-day short vacation here. The apartment is very clean and comfortably furnished. The bathroom is very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped. The landlords are very friendly and helpful and are happy to give tips for your stay. The apartment is on the first floor above garages, so you don't have to worry about disturbing others one floor below by just walking around. The apartment is well located, both as a starting point for trips to the Black Forest (Gengenbach, Vogtsbauernhof etc.) and for trips to Strasbourg (park for free in Kehl behind the train station and take the tram to Strasbourg with the day ticket) and to Alsace (Erstein Museum Würth etc.). We can therefore fully recommend this apartment. Thank you for the lovely days!

A very clean and well-furnished holiday apartment. You can arrive here without any worries. There were welcome drinks, the beds were made on arrival, towels were provided and the equipment in the kitchen and the other rooms left nothing to be desired.
The bed was also very comfortable.
The hosts are very friendly, open and helpful.
We will definitely come back.

Michael's apartment is beautifully furnished, with wonderful beds, a cozy living/dining room with a balcony, a kitchen equipped with beautiful dishes, and a bathroom that invites you to relax. The natural wood floor is perfect for walking barefoot. Contact with Michael was warm, uncomplicated, and very pleasant. The apartment is in a quiet location, just a short drive from the Rhine for those who enjoy being by the water.
A truly beautiful accommodation awaits you.

We stayed for three nights in the "Heimatliebe" holiday apartment. The accommodation is newly renovated, spacious and bright, with very comfortable beds and nothing is lacking. The furnishings are modern and stylish. You immediately feel at home and comfortable. Michael and Melanie are incredibly nice hosts and are happy to give tips for excursions and other requests that make a stay perfect. We felt very comfortable and will certainly come back. 100% recommended!

Location of the holiday home
Our darling is on the outskirts of Ichenheim on the way to the nearby Rhine (4KM). There is another house between the apartment and the street. The distance to the Rheinstraße is about 30 meters. A quiet apartment awaits you. Right in front of our neighbor's front door there is a 24/7 vending machine with regional delicacies. A baker, restaurants, two kebab shops and a grocery retailer are within walking distance.

Our gem is centrally located to explore the Europa Park, Strasbourg, Offenburg, Black Forest, Gengenbach, vineyards, Lahr, Ettenheim, Freiburg and the Rhine plain.
Sport, relaxation or both
If you love cycling, then the Rhine plain is the right place for you. Mountain bikers and racing cyclists can reach the first foothills of the Black Forest in 20 minutes. There are plenty of great hikes with or without a stop, in the sunshine or in the forest.
You can canoe almost on our doorstep on the Altrhein or on the quarry ponds.
The best way to relax is in one of the many restaurants with beer gardens. But the outdoor pools, indoor pools and saunas are also ideal for relaxation.
